More than 4.5 Million Patients Assisted over Ten Years

We are focused on researching and developing new medicines that improve the lives of patients around the globe. Our researchers push the boundaries of science to discover these innovative treatments, but we must also ensure that patients can access them.

AstraZeneca has a long history of helping qualified patients afford the medicines they need through our patient assistance programs. Over the past 10 years alone, the AZ&Me™ Prescription Savings Program has provided prescription savings to more than 4.5 million patients in the United States and Puerto Rico.

Patients often share the impact that AZ&Me has had on their lives. Below are some of the notes we have received this past year:

“Without your generous provision of my medication, there’s no way I could have ever gotten my much needed medication. I am so very grateful to you for your goodness.”

“This medication saved my life. AZ&Me is wonderful, they send me the medication every month.”

"I appreciate AstraZeneca for allowing me to receive this medication free of charge through the AZ&Me Prescription Savings Program. I am retired and disabled and this program is a God send.”

“It is inspiring to hear how individual patients are benefitting from our AZ&Me Prescription Savings Program," shared Ruud Dobber, President, AstraZeneca US.

"This is exactly why we launched the program more than 35 years ago and today it remains a critical component of our commitment to patients.”

AZ&Me helps qualifying people without prescription drug coverage, those enrolled in Medicare Part D who are still having trouble affording their AstraZeneca medications, and those who recently faced a financial challenge – such as loss of employment.

We want to help ensure that patients can afford their medicines, even if they aren’t made by AstraZeneca. View our Affordability page for additional resources that may help you gain access to the medicines or services you need.
