Strategic U.S. locations to advance science and deliver medicines to patients
AstraZeneca’s U.S. operations are integral to our global business and to our efforts to make a meaningful difference in healthcare.
The headquarters of our North America Commercial Business is located in Wilmington, DE and is home to several business functions integral to the U.S. business.
The Gaithersburg, MD campus, which is home to the US commercial specialty care business and MedImmune, AstraZeneca’s global biologics research and development arm, is one of three global research and development centers (along with Cambridge, UK and Mölndal, Sweden) designated to improving pipeline productivity and establishing the company as a global leader in biopharmaceutical innovation.
AstraZeneca has several key R&D, manufacturing and commercial locations across the United States, including in Boston, MA, where the Gatehouse Park BioHub is thriving with several research companies and top scientists and experts. The BioHub was created by AstraZeneca as a bold new R&D initiative to foster life sciences discovery and the exchange of ideas.
