AstraZeneca has been named among the 2013 World’s Most InDemand Employers by LinkedIn, the largest professional network on the Internet.  The InDemand ranking lists the most sought-after employers around the globe, based on billions of interactions from LinkedIn’s more than 240 million members in over 200 countries and territories worldwide.

“Great teams build great products and services. That’s why a company’s talent is its greatest strength.  But hiring top talent isn’t easy,” said Dan Shapero, vice president of LinkedIn Talent Solutions and Insights. “That’s why talent brand is so important — the stronger the talent brand, the easier it is to hire and retain the best and brightest. This year’s most InDemand employers realize that and have worked hard to strengthen their talent brands and build their dream teams, increasing their chances of success.”

With more than 50,000 employees worldwide, AstraZeneca represents a diverse group of individuals working together to help people live healthier lives.  The company works every day to make a meaningful difference in the lives of both the patients it serves and its employees.  AstraZeneca stands firmly among the world’s leaders in biopharmaceuticals, and aims to foster a dynamic and innovation-driven work environment where its employees can live up to their fullest potential.

Earlier this year, AstraZeneca was also selected by Working Mother magazine as one of the 2013 100 Best Companies, and was previously named to the Top 100 Military Friendly Employers list by G.I. Jobs magazine.
