Help affording your medicines

What can one pharmaceutical company do to help more people in need afford their medicine?

A lot!

At AstraZeneca, we know that when it comes to healthcare, it's personal. People have unique, individual needs and sometimes all they need is a little help. That's why for 30 years, AstraZeneca has offered patient assistance programs side by side with our medicines.

Since 1978, we've worked hard to better understand the needs of patients and the healthcare system so that our programs can make a difference. In the last five years, AstraZeneca has given away more than $3 billion worth of medicine to people without prescription insurance. In 2007, AstraZeneca helped nearly half a million people fill 2.8 million prescriptions resulting in more than $500 million of savings to patients.

We've expanded the eligibility criteria for our AZ&Me™ Prescription Savings program for people without insurance so that another 3.8 million people may be eligible for our help. If you are an individual making $30,000 or less or a family of four making $60,000 or less you may qualify for an AZ&Me™ Prescription Savings program.

Our commitment to improving health isn't just through our innovations in the lab; it's also through knowing the people who use our medicines and helping them get these medicines when they need them.

If you have a moment, you can find out now if you may be eligible for one of the AZ&Me™ Prescription Savings programs.
