Responsibilities
John Yee, MD, MPH, serves as vice president and U.S. head medical officer, responsible for overseeing all U.S. business medical affairs activities.
Prior experience
Prior to his current position, John was employed by Genzyme since 2003, where he held various medical affairs leadership roles with key responsibilities including disease registries, medical education, scientific symposia and investigator-sponsored research.
In addition to his roles at Genzyme, John has served in leadership roles at a major academic medical center, at health care technology start-up companies and as a clinical research consultant to pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies.
Prior to joining the industry, John served as a faculty member at Harvard Medical School and at Children’s Hospital Boston. He completed his residency and fellowship training at Children’s Hospital Boston.
