Vice President, Customer Product Support & Business Services

Responsibilities

Kathy Monday, Vice President, Customer Product Support & Business Services, AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals LP, US has accountability for US manufacturing operations and supply chain, as well as quality assurance, facilities management and corporate planning.  She serves as a member of AstraZeneca’s US Leadership Team and is responsible for driving the US strategy to maximize supply chain value.

Prior experience

With over 22 years of pharmaceutical supply chain experience, Kathy began her career at Merck & Co., Inc in 1985 progressing through a range of quality control, manufacturing, validation, and technical services positions. Kathy joined Merck's joint venture, Astra Merck, in 1993 where she was instrumental in the start-up managing technical, regulatory and manufacturing functions.  Within AstraZeneca, Kathy has lead corporate service functions across operations focused on asset and product strategies, business enablement, new product introductions, manufacturing technical support, product distribution and transportation and logistics.

Education

Kathy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Science from Villanova University and a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Rutgers University.

Affiliations

Kathy is a board member for the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association, Mid-Atlantic Chapter and the Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation.
